But the Featherstone captain's injury is not as serious as first thought. "He's unlikely to play at the weekend," said Hobbs. "It's not as bad as we first suspected but it's still sore. He'll have treatment this week and he wants to play but we've got a big month ahead of us and he's got to use his head. It's too early to say exactly how long - we're hopeful it will be two or three weeks rather than six - but our staff are quite confident we can treat it."
