Tiffany Stock Up After Analyst Upgrade
Houston Chronicle, United States - Jun 9, 2006 Lehman Brothers analyst Alan M. Rifkin upgraded the stock to "Overweight" from "Equal Weight," revised his price target to $40 and raised his 2007 earnings
Rifkin pointed out in a note to investors that Tiffany has raised its prices twice since the beginning of 2005 to offset rising commodity costs _ but sales have remained constant. If prices for precious metals stabilize, he wrote, Tiffany's gross merchandise margins could improve.
