Carol Ann Barnickol, AM, LCSW, is a SIDS parent. She has been involved in SIDS counseling and education since 1975, as Coordinator, both of the Missouri SIDS Information and Counseling Project and of SIDS Resources, Inc. for which she is currently a consultant. She has been a presenter at various SIDS seminars and conferences, and has co-authored articles and brochures on SIDS, as well as a book, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome: Who Can Help and How.
